I love the location of 500 WT! The apartments are beautiful and the amenities are very nice. The barista and maintenance team are amazing! The downsides are: parking is limited, office staff changes frequently, at least 1 elevator (out of 4) is broken every week on average, and the parking garage gates are inoperable very frequently, leading to safety concerns.

It’s not been bad, the residents seem friendly and the neighborhood is not too loud. I would say when I moved in, the my leasing agent wasn’t helpful at all, I didn’t get any help navigating the apartment, no one showed me around, I reserved the service elevator but it wasn’t reserved, moving in is already a stressful process but it would have been helpful if someone was nice enough to show me around.

500 West Trade is a great place to live - very modern fixtures in the apartment and the building has every amenity you can think of. Sometimes there's a few issues here and there take that a bit of time to fix but in general, I've really enjoyed living here.

So far so good. My apartment finishes are very nice. When I first arrived, there were some things that needed to be fixed, but these were taken care of very quickly. The resident events are very nice. I love using the sauna and steam rooms. Parking garage sometimes has issues. Overall, great experience.

Great community all around. Besides the living spaces which rival the other luxury apartments in uptown, the property management staff go out of their way to make sure there are great events and activities. My only gripe would be that I wish the ButterflyMX system allowed visitors up to the unit; but on a positive note - that keeps the building extra safe.

Overall, my time at 500 has been good - not excellent - but good. 500 West Trade offers a lot of amenities that you cannot find at all apartments within uptown. Only downfall for me is no 24hr concierge, now food delivery straight to your apartment door, you cannot buzz anyone up to your place, and lots of elevator breakages/reservations.

Excellent amenities and the staff is usually wonderful. However, the rooftop closes too early and should be opened until 11:00 PM on a regular basis, especially considering that it is often reserved and not available to residents. While the cleaning staff does a great job keeping the inside of the building clean, when it comes to the exterior of the building there is room for improvement. We have lived in this great community for 12 months now, but the windows have not been cleaned once. It would be easier to enjoy the amazing views of Uptown if the exterior windows are cleaned at least once per year. As a dog owner, we always make sure to clean up after our dog. Unfortunately, several residents do not clean up after their dogs and more can be done to remind them to do so.

Great amenities and staff members are generally very nice. There’s almost always one elevator in the building out. Not enough EV chargers for the amount of residents. This is no fault of property management team, but fellow neighbors’ dogs often pee in common spaces. Apartments themselves are aesthetically pleasing, but things are somewhat easily broken.

The apartment/complex is very nice and well kept. Our unit is very spacious which is amazing and the location is fantastic. However, we didn’t have a working oven for the first month, multiple light fixtures fell down, & thekey fobs can be tricky. Those are very specific because they’re the only things I’ve had trouble with. Other than that it’s been great.

Overall a nice community, been here since 500 opened, so a little over two years now. A lot of turnover in a short time but that’s everywhere. The maintenance team do great work with building upkeep considering, “people will be people”. I wish the gym had more key workout equipment rather than wasted space with current machines. Moving in I was told the building was getting a rooftop bar but that doesn’t look promising at this point. The barista is nice in the mornings when it’s open! Not many complaints, It’s been an enjoyable place to live

When I first moved into 500 W Trade, I loved the building and the members of the leasing office. Unfortunately, they changed the entire leasing staff without notice or explanation. Now that Emri is back, I’m positive 500 W Trade will be back to running like it was when it first opened.

The apartment has its up and downs, and I know the leasing staff tries their best. A lot of my complaints are pretty much universal, like elevators being broken at times when you need it most, or can’t get good parking if you come back too late, or the uptown traffic during games is brutal. They are also cracking pretty hard on rule violations, so beware. But overall, we had a pretty good time here!

The new concierge (can’t think of his name) is truly the BEST and one of the top reasons I would renew my lease. I have never felt safer taking my dog out than when he’s there. Our first encounter, he saw me take my dog out (unbeknownst to me). There was a sketchy character that started following me. The concierge came outside, and just his presence was enough to deter the sketchy individual. This has now happened on several occurrences, and I’m truly SO grateful. THANK YOU for hiring someone as quality as he is. Please never let him leave 🤗

Me and my fiance have been here for almost a year now and we can say we genuinely enjoy the unit and location. The staff is friendly and the other tenants are nice. Building is overall okay. Leasing staff has gotten much better at communication. Lots of issues with above noise from neighbors. There is also a constant issue on the 3rd floor near the back elevator of weed smells everyday. I mind my business but it's annoying to smell that in the hallways.

Great location on the lightrail, near several eateries, and just up the street from several sporting events. Great features in the apartment like the waterfall shower heads and large closets. I do wish we had more events with better quality features (given the amount of rent) and opportunities to get to know the other residents better.

500 W Trade has been a great apartment complex to live in. The location, amenities and beautiful apartment are second to none. The only downside is that the elevators break every other day, and with two elderly dogs, it was simply unacceptable to be without elevators that often. That being said, we would have probably renewed our lease and continued living here if we had not bought a house. Thanks for a great stint, 500 W Trade.

500 West Trade has been a great experience thus far. I love how new the building is so the appliances are very modern. The location is why I decided to relocate to 500 west trade and it is center of uptown and walking distance to many restaurants and bars. There are so many amenities, the rooftop and spa areas are my favorite.

Love this apt! Noise was a big problem at my last building, and here I cannot hear a thing! I can’t hear neighbors beside or above me at all. I’m so happy with my unit and the amenities. My favorite amenities are the pools, gym, and grills. There are ample grills. I really enjoy living here.

I have lived at 500 W Trade for almost a year and have loved calling this place my home. The rooms are nice sized with nice appliances and cabinets. Excellent privacy as I never hear my neighbors beside or below me (I am on the 5th floor of midrise so no one above me). The only service request I had was resolved within 24 hours which was very convenient. The staff here have all been accommodating and easy to talk to. And of course, the amenities are my favorite part of the building. Each amenity is kept up to standards, clean, and ready for residents to use. The view of Uptown on the graham st side is one of the best views in all of Charlotte. I love being able to wake up and see the city or open the blinds at night when the city is all lit up. Overall great experience and would highly recommend to any and all potential residents.

We absolutely love 500 West Trade and all the people who live and work here! We've felt so welcome and taken care of since moving in. The community events have been so much fun every month and is a great way to meet new people and get to know our neighbors as well as the staff! Alexis has done an amazing job hosting most of the events and everything is always so seamless. She's always there to talk with and hangout with the residents and makes us feel at home. It's like living at a RESORT everyday. The staff are friendly and attentive; the amenities and activities are top notch and the ability to walk uptown to restaurants, bars, the stadiums and more are added bonuses. The staff is great, they show that they care by trying! There will be inconveniences sometimes but Juan is always on top of it! I also love the event ideas that they come up with, although sometimes communicating the events to the residents are a problem.

Life is great here at 500 West Trade. I love being able to walk to all my favorite sporting events as well as stroll through such a beautiful city. My new job is relocating right up the road and can't wait to be able to walk to work as well! The amenities are everything I could have asked for! They started calling me Peloton Papi with how many rides I've been on. The pool is perfect for soaking up some rays.

Can't wait for the dog park to be opened. Also, the men's sauna should get up to like 200 degrees. 160 degrees isn't hot enough. Other than that, a concierge would make the apartment next tier. OTher than those small things, I love living here, the leasing office is awesome and everyone in it!

I definitely love living here. The building is beautifully constructed and I fell in love with our apartment the second I walked in and saw the kitchen during the tour! I love the view, the dark cabinets with gold accents, the beautiful floors, the bathroom is a dream…just everything about the apartment. The amenities are all amazing! The gym was one another reasons why we chose to live here….it’s so nice and was definitely something we needed in an apartment! The rooftop area is so nice and I can’t wait to have more events up there! I can’t wait to have more events in general because I feel like that’s a great way of meeting your neighbors and community. The office staff is great (Aralena and Jonathan are THE BEST)! There are still some kinks that need to be worked out, but the building just got built and I know for a fact everything with get evened out and will be perfect. So much has already changed since I moved here in July and I can’t wait to see where this place goes!
